Assimilation is a free-for-all-type game.
Before the game begins, all players determine their unique call sign. This can be your name, gamer tag, etc. All players start at the same area. On go, players parlay for 2 minutes while they spread out and hide. When the whistle is blown you may open fire.
If you get hit, call your hit and hold your hand up where you are. You are now a 'free agent,' and can be tagged in by another team. The player who tags you will yell out their team name. You are now on that team. Now if you tag another player, yell out your new team name.
The game is over when all players are eventually assimilated into one team.
Here are some basic tactics/strategies:
- There IS friendly fire so it's a good idea to yell out your team name before firing.
- It's also a good idea to respond when allies yell out your team name or they may light you up.
- Sneaky players MAY pretend to be on your team so be alert...
- It's a good idea to group up to avoid confusion, friendly fire and trickery.
- Players start alone
- Or depending on the number of players, start in 2's or 3's.
